The Bhartiya Takaniki Shodh Avam Vikash Sanstha (BTSVS) is a voluntary, Non Government organization dealing with various public welfare activities in the field of Technical education (computer and Information technology), Welfare education, Agricultural activities, Health awareness, woman empowerment, Medicinal and Aromatic plant cultivation, Plantation management and Environmental awareness programmes. The organization has established on 21 December 2001 under the society registration act 21,1860 (registration no 985, letter no. 1-16084-D) with its head office located at Badshahi Thaul, District- Tehri Garhwal, Uttaranchal.

The organization has its own computer education centers, under which the various computer based professionals and literacy programmes / trainings are being organized by the society.
|
|
|
|
|
|
Various programmes on general awareness for the women such as literacy awareness campaign in the women, Dowry system in the society, Mental depression of women by the family members, female embryo abortion, employment generation activities etc are among the key activity of organization.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Women literacy programme on computer - Computer has become the essential part of
present human life, therefore, the domestic women are made literate to
understand the use of computer.
|
|
|
|
|
|
Various multipurpose trees MPTs such as Bhimal , Khadik, Daikan, Shirish and
Robinia have been planted by the society with the help of farmers in the farmers
field to provide them fuel, fodder, fiber and flosses. Plantation of Jatropha
for bio-diesel purpose is being also initiated by the society. The MPTs are also
grown by the farmer in intercropping as a agroforestry system to increase the
productivity of the unit area. |

The different programmes for the awareness about the health and nutrition food
are being organized by the sanstha. The campaign on the AIDS, Hepatitis B and
Polio programme are the basic theme of the society.

|
Awareness programmes on poly bag eradiation has been the most successful
activity launched by the organization . Clear water movement and use of organic
farming and bio fuel has also emphasized by the organization. |

|
|
|
|
|
The different pogrammes on agricultural based activities such as off season vegetable cultivation and plantation of some horticultural crops namely peach, plum, walnut, apricot etc are planted in farmers field by the org. |

|
The organic farming concept is being introduced to the farmers. In this way several activities on organic farming are being carried out by the organization.

Kausal Virdhi Yojna This project is introduced by the Govt of Uttaranchal to develop the it skills in minority educated youths. This project is running in distt Tehri Garhwal .
Jeewan Awasar Protsahan YojnaThis project is introduced by Uttaranchal alpsankhyak kalyan tatha waqf vikash nigam Govt of Uttaranchal to generate the self employment to rural minority youths. |
