The Bhartiya Takaniki Shodh Avam Vikash Sanstha (BTSVS) is a voluntary, Non Government organization dealing with various public welfare activities in the field of Technical education (computer and Information technology), Welfare education, Agricultural activities, Health awareness, woman empowerment, Medicinal and Aromatic plant cultivation, Plantation management and Environmental awareness programmes. The organization has established on 21 December 2001 under the society registration act 21,1860 (registration no 985, letter no. 1-16084-D) with its head office located at Badshahi Thaul, District- Tehri Garhwal, Uttaranchal.

In the year 2006 BTSVS has become a mega organization with the initiation of its distance technical education programme. Bhartiya Takaniki Shodh Avam Vikas sanstha is the only organization in Uttranchal which is involved in distance technical education programme at village level. The organization has 1300 youth in their functioning activities working in the different parts of Uttranchal. The chairman and founder of the society Mr. Govind Prasad is young and energetic man and expertise in technical education. The secretary of organization is Mr. Dinesh Nakoti is also a young and dynamic person. There are 11 study / contact center of the organization are working in the different parts of the Uttranchal which are strictly supervised through head office of the organization, situated at Badshahi Thaul, District- Tehri Garhwal, Uttranchal.
