The Bhartiya Takaniki Shodh Avam Vikash Sanstha (BTSVS) is a voluntary, Non Government organization dealing with various public welfare activities in the field of Technical education (computer and Information technology), Welfare education, Agricultural activities, Health awareness, woman empowerment, Medicinal and Aromatic plant cultivation, Plantation management and Environmental awareness programmes. The organization has established on 21 December 2001 under the society registration act 21,1860 (registration no 985, letter no. 1-16084-D) with its head office located at Badshahi Thaul, District- Tehri Garhwal, Uttaranchal.

Bhartiya Takaniki Shodh Avam Vikas sanstha is the only organization in uttranchal that imparts technical education in rural areas to enable the people to understand modern techniques and enable them to get employment/ self employment . There are 11 study / contact center of the organization is working in the different parts of the Uttranchal. The target of the Organization is to stabilize more than 25 study/contact center till the year 2006. The head office of the organization is situated in Badshahi Thaul, Chamba, District- Tehri Garhwal. Organization has an excellent technical staff and sufficient self printed ,audio and video study material which is available at study center . Postal service(distance education) is also available by the organization each student might have to contact at nearest study/contact center for his practical job.
